- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My emergency surgery was a very negative experience. Here is why - This hospital is listed as "in network" by my insurance company. Memorial doesn't tell you, however, that they use "out of network" contractors for many services. This means your bills won't be paid by your insurance company. On top of my deductible and other expected charges I now owe almost $700 to one of these out of network contractors. If you go here know that it will be a terrible financial experience. I spoke to billing about this and while they are aware of the problem, they saw no need to warn me about this when I consented to treatment. If I had known I would have gone elsewhere. To avoid this problem in the future I will use the stand alone ER on North Street.November 03, 2017by Jerry Williams
