- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪dr. schaus was recommended by a gp. i had multiple severe problems, and, while she is kind and caring, dr schaus is also extremely professional, thorough, and reassuring. her first step was a complete blood workup followed by an equally intense exam. her manner is amazing. she is one of the best docs out there, and i would and have referred anyone to her, even if just an annual exam. if there is a problem, she'll find it. but she does nothing extreme. never gave me any meds; just kept a keen eye on my condition until all was well. any other dr would have done a drive thro hysterectomy or, at the very least, insisted on hormonal replacement. the latter never came up; when i mentioned the former, she calmly explained that it is serious surgery and should only be a last resort. she even managed all testing in her office. lots of support and no typically unnecessary trauma here. thrilled with her, her pa, and her staff. not a better ob/gyn in east tx--and i had been to most prior to her intervention.May 22, 2017by A Google User
